Pulse polio immunisation will be conducted across Kodagu district on December 21, Deputy Commissioner Venkat Raja said while instructing officials to make all necessary preparations.
Speaking at a video-conference meeting, he said the programme is a national initiative and called upon all departments and organisations to cooperate for its success.
District Health and Family Welfare Officer Dr. Satish Kumar provided detailed statistics on the target population, vaccination booths, teams, supervisors and cold chain arrangements. Awareness activities will be undertaken by various departments and voluntary organisations to ensure full coverage.
