Kidnap case solved within 48 hours

The Kushalnagar police have recently arrested Yasin (21), Rukhsana, her husband Yasin (23), Shahbaz (28), Afsal (21), Suhail Ahmmed (30), Yasin (23), Faizal Khan (23) and Mudaris (24) and have successfully solved a case of kidnap and demanding ransom. This was done by the police within 48 hours of the incident. All the arrested are involved int inter-district dacoity. One person named Pille alias Khurana has escaped. Further, the police have also rescued victim Hemanth from Kanive Basavanahalli.

The police have recovered a vehicle worth Rs 5.5 lakh, 30-gram gold ornaments worth Rs 1.82 lakh, two mobile phones worth Rs 50,000, a two-wheeler worth Rs 30,000, Rs 5,000 cash in and other valuables.

Superintendent of Police K Ramarajan said that the kidnap was done in a cinematic style and the case was challenging as police had a responsibility to save the life of a man who was kidnapped.

When Hemanth was waiting near the KSRTC bus stand, he was allegedly kidnapped in a vehicle and later the kidnappers demanded a ransom of Rs 5 lakh. The suspects had taken away gold ornaments, cash, the ATM card and the mobile phone of the victim.

On receiving the complaint, the police swung into action and solved the case successfully.
