The annual Sri Kaveri Tula Sankramana Pavitra Theerthodbhava Jatre for 2026 will be held on October 17 at Talakaveri.
A preliminary meeting to discuss preparations for the festival will be held at 3.30 p.m. today (September 16) at the old Mudi building of the Sri Bhaganandeshwara Temple. The meeting will be chaired by A.S. Ponnanna, Political Secretary to the Chief Minister and MLA of Virajpet Assembly constituency.
Temple Executive Officer Chandrashekar has appealed to presidents of various organisations, leaders of all communities, village elders, Thakkas of all temples in the region, and members of the public to attend the meeting, offer their valuable suggestions and extend their cooperation to ensure the successful conduct of the Tula Sankramana Jatre 2026.
