Students of General Thimmaiah Public School in Madikeri recently visited Vidhana Soudha in Bengaluru, gaining a new and enriching experience.
The students, who had expressed a desire to visit Vidhana Soudha, had approached Madikeri MLA Dr. Mantar Gowda with their request. Considering their request, the MLA facilitated a visit to Vidhana Soudha for 48 students of the school.
During the visit, Dr. Mantar Gowda was personally present and guided the students on the functioning of Vidhana Soudha and the working of the democratic system.
The MLA also bore the students’ meal expenses, earning appreciation for the gesture.
School Principal Baleyada Savitha Poovaiah, teachers Manavattira Rekha, Madetira Pramila, Neravanda Babina, Mottera Leena, Sharmila, Shaily and Bharath, among others, were present.
