M. Dhananjay conferred Rotary District 3181’s Unsung Hero Award

M. Dhananjay, Director of Rotary Misty Hills and an active member of several social service organisations, has been honoured with the prestigious “Unsung Hero Award” by Rotary District 3181 in recognition of his contributions to society.

Dhananjay has been actively associated with organisations such as the Madikeri City Chamber of Commerce, Scouts and Guides, Indian Red Cross Society and Janapada Parishad and has rendered notable service through various social initiatives.

The award was presented during the Rotary District 3181 award ceremony held in Mysuru. Rotary District Governor Ramakrishna, noted film actress Radhika Narayan, Assistant Governor Dhillon Changappa and other Rotary leaders felicitated Dhananjay on the occasion.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, Dhananjay, as President of the Madikeri Chamber of Commerce, played a key role in establishing a market at the Government Bus Stand in Madikeri with the support of his associates. The initiative benefited consumers and also facilitated the distribution of essential commodities and medicines to households during the difficult period.

He has also been actively associated with the Indian Red Cross Society as District General Secretary and has rendered valuable services through the Scouts and Guides movement and the Madikeri Taluk Janapada Parishad.

A member of Rotary Misty Hills for the past 21 years, Dhananjay is widely known for his commitment to service activities and his concern for the welfare of society. He has been actively involved in various charitable initiatives undertaken by Rotary Misty Hills over the years.

Leaders of Rotary Misty Hills, Rotary Woods, Madikeri Taluk Janapada Parishad, Scouts and Guides and the Indian Red Cross Society have congratulated Dhananjay on receiving the honor.
