B.B. Vishal Uthappa secured a silver medal in the Mixed Doubles event, partnering with Ms. Hansika Rakesh, and also clinched a bronze medal in the Under-15 Singles category at the Yonex Sunrise State Ranking Badminton Tournament held in Vijayapura from May 17 to 23.
The tournament was organised by the Karnataka Badminton Association in association with the Vijayapura District Badminton Association at Ambedkar Stadium.
Vishal is currently training at the Pullela Gopichand Badminton Academy.
