Ainmanes play an important role in preserving tradition: A.S. Ponnanna
Guru Karona Tere was held at the Ainmane of the Pattamada family in Cherambane-Bengur village.
Traditional rituals related to Karona, Kodibhir, Bhairava, Kuttichatha, Karibal Bhagavathi, NuchchuttiEet Kuliya, Dharmadevate, Panjuruli Angara and Pashanamuthi Kuliya were conducted on the occasion.

Virajpet MLA and Chief Minister’s Legal Advisor A.S. Ponnanna visited the historic Ainmane of the Pattamada family and said that he had been extending all possible support for the systematic preservation of Ainmanes, which represent the culture and heritage of Kodagu.He said that cultural and traditional religious programmesorganised in ancestral homes help instil good values among the younger generation.
