9th Annual ABC and ARV camp to be conducted by Animal Relief Kodagu (ARK)

Animal Relief Kodagu is pleased to announce their 9th Animal Birth Control (ABC) and Anti Rabies Vaccination (ARV) Camp of Street Dogs  Labour Line Dogs and pets  – in collaboration with ASRA (Bangalore).

Stray animals will be caught in a humane manner (only in Kadagadal Village limits) by professional dog catchers with the help of butterfly nets. The surgery will be conducted by Veterinarians specialized in the key-hole method. Post recovery, the stray dogs will be returned to the same place from which they were found.

Details are as follows:

Dates: Saturday 23rd May & Sunday 24th May, 2026

Timings: 9AM-2PM (both days)

Venue: Government High School, Kadagadal Village, Madikeri Taluk

Subsidized surgery rates (inclusive of the Anti-Rabies Vaccine) will be charged for Pets. Nominal surgery rates (inclusive of the Anti Rabies Vaccine) will be charged for Labour Line Dogs. The surgeries for Stray Dogs (brought in by the public or by ASRA) will be free and sponsored by ARK.

ARK urges you to bring in as many Labour Line Dogs as possible to help control the population within and surrounding your plantations.
