Kodagu District In-charge Minister N.S. Bhosaraju on Tuesday flagged off a newly provided minibus for press tours at the premises of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office in Madikeri.
The Minister stated that the 32-seater minibus had been allocated to Kodagu district through the combined efforts of journalists, legislators and the government. MLA Dr. Mantar Gowda inaugurated the vehicle by personally driving the minibus.
Municipal Council President P. Kalavathi, District President of the Guarantee Schemes Implementation Committee Teethira Dharmaja Uthappa, Sports Authority Vice-President C.S. Arun Machaiah, Deputy Commissioner S.J. Somashekar, Zilla Panchayat CEO Anand Prakash Meena, Superintendent of Police R.N. Bindumani, Deputy Conservator of Forests Abhishek, Sub-Divisional Officer Nitin Chakki, Regional Transport Officer Satish, journalists and others were present.
Assistant Director of the Department of Information and Public Relations Chinnaswamy welcomed the gathering.
