Virajpet MLA and Chief Minister’s Legal Advisor A.S. Ponnanna assured that he would extend full support as a member of every family organizing the Kodava Family Hockey Festival in the future.
He was speaking as the chief guest at the final match of the Chenanda Cup Hockey Festival held at General Thimmaiah Stadium in Napoklu.
He stated that he has supported the Chenanda family as one of their own and will continue to do so in the future.
He appreciated the efforts of the Chenanda family, under the leadership of MP Yaduveer Wodeyar, in bringing Union Sports Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya to Kodagu. He said that he would convey gratitude to the Chenanda family on behalf of the entire district.
He expressed confidence that, given the Minister’s interest in sports, Kodagu would receive significant support in the future.
He also requested all families to extend cooperation, noting that his grandmother’s family would be organizing the Kodava Family Hockey Festival next year.
