Police Hold Meeting with Homestay Owners; Issue Safety Guidelines

The Kodagu District Police Department held a meeting with office-bearers of the district homestay, hotel, and travel owners’ associations.

At the meeting held at the District Police Office, Superintendent of Police R.N. Bindumani and Assistant  Commissioner  Nitin Chakki provided suggestions and issued instructions regarding tourist safety.

Issues such as registration of homestays and hotels, safety of tourists, verification of employees, and registration of foreign tourists were discussed.

Officials from the Tourism Department and Information Department were present at the meeting.
