A woman sustained serious injuries following a wild animal attack near Kedakkal in Suntikoppa.
According to reports, a wild animal emerged from a nearby plantation and attacked vehicles travelling along National Highway 275, including a TT van and a scooter.
The woman, identified as Nazima, was travelling on the scooter at the time of the incident.
The TT vehicle, reportedly from Kerala, also suffered damage.
The injured woman has been admitted to Madikeri District Hospital for treatment.
