Tiger that Attacked Cattle Captured in Kodagu

The Forest Department captured a male tiger responsible for killing seven cattle in Ponnampet taluk.

Under the guidance of Chief Conservator of Forests Sonal Vrishthi, a joint operation using drone surveillance and trained elephants was conducted. The tiger was tranquilised by Dr. Ramesh and later shifted to Bannerghatta National Park in Bengaluru.

Virajpet MLA A.S. Ponnanna appreciated the swift action taken by forest officials.
