The felicitation took place during the inauguration of the ‘Kodava Pusthaka Pattaya’ programme organized by the Kodava Sahitya Academy in Virajpet.
The event was attended by Kodava Speaking Communities Association President Dr. Mechira Subhash Nanaiah, Vice-President Ponnira Gagan Uthaiah, Potdanda Ganesh, leaders of Kodava Savita Samaj including Tapanera Sabu, Mahesh, Poonachira Manoj, Tapanera Mahesh, VedapandaBidappa and Halchira Devaiah.
Directors Kakkabe Chovanda Jija, Thorera Ponnakki and several community leaders representing Kodava Kembatti, Barna Samaj, Palasipale Samaj, Malaya Samaj, Koyava Samaj, Kunda Panika Samaj, Golla Samaj and other Kodava-speaking communities were present.
