KSRTC Madikeri Unit Driver Shekhar Conferred ‘Silver Medal’ for Exemplary Service

Shekhar, a driver serving with the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) Madikeri Unit and a resident of Palibetta in Kodagu district, has been honoured with the prestigious ‘Silver Medal’ Best Driver Award.

The award was presented by Karnataka Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot during the Republic Day celebrations held in Bengaluru.

Shekhar was selected for the honour based on stringent criteria, including excellent accident-free driving, dedicated duty performance, courteous behaviour towards passengers, and polite and respectful conduct with the corporation’s officers and staff. His consistent professionalism and commitment to public service earned him recognition at the state level.
