Former Assembly Speaker K.G. Bopaiah has urged the State Government to continue the ‘Pauthi Kathe Movement’, stating that it complements the resolution of the Jamma Bane issue.

At a press conference, he claimed that nearly 90 percent of the Jamma Bane problem was resolved during the BJP government’s tenure and accused the Congress of delaying implementation despite High Court directions.

Former Minister M.P. Appachu Ranjan echoed similar views.

District BJP President Napanda Ravi Kalappa and other party leaders were also present.
