S.J. Somashekar Assumes Charge as Deputy Commissioner of Kodagu

S.J. Somashekar has taken charge as the new Deputy Commissioner of Kodagu district recently. He assumed office from Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Anand Prakash Meena.

On the occasion, the new Deputy Commissioner was congratulated by Kodagu District Superintendent of Police Bindu Mani, DFO Abhishek, Additional Deputy Commissioner R. Aishwarya, Assistant Commissioner Nikil Chakki, Tahsildars Praveen Kumar, Kiran Gouraiah and Sridhar, along with officials and staff from various departments.

S.J. Somashekar has previously served as Commissioner in the Panchayat Raj Department and as Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer in Chitradurga district.

Deputy Commissioner Venkataraju posted to Bengaluru as Commissioner of Survey, Settlement and Land Records.

As part of the ongoing administrative reshuffle in the state, several IAS and IPS officers have been transferred to different districts.
