The two GGs of coorg,  b.p. govinda played in 1975 world cup hockey final which India won 2-1  v/s pakistan,  known for his simmering speed and late flicks to the goal post. M.p. ganesh was the captain of the Indian team which missed the world cup by a sliver in Amsterdam 1973, he had that surge in the death moment , the fading moments of the game, he played hockey in Holland clubs……
