A staff member at a petrol bunk set an example of honesty by returning a gold bracelet worth approximately Rs. 2 lakh to its owner.

T.M. Basavaraju of Suntikoppa, who was travelling to Shivamogga with his wife, had stopped to refuel his vehicle at the Kaveri petrol station in Kodagarahalli. During the visit, his gold bracelet accidentally fell at the petrol bunk.

After reaching Konanur, Basavaraju realised that the bracelet was missing and retraced his route, checking various places where he had stopped. It was then found that Radha, a staff member at the petrol station, had safely secured the bracelet and returned it to him.

Basavaraju praised Radha’s honesty and said that her act of returning the 17-gram gold bracelet made her a role model for society. He also stated that she would be suitably rewarded for her integrity.
