The BJP organised a protest in Madikeri demanding stringent legal action against those accused of insulting Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Former MLA Appachchu Ranjan, District BJP President Ravi Kalappa, Municipal Council President Kalavathi, Vice President Mahesh Jaini, District BJP Mahila Morcha President Anita Poovaiah, and several other party leaders participated in the protest.
The protesters demanded strict punishment for the accused and raised slogans calling for decisive legal action. A human chain protest was organised at Indira Gandhi Circle, Madikeri.
