Vishal Uthappa Clinches Gold at Anant Bajaj Memorial Badminton Tournament

Vishal Uthappa B. B. has secured the gold medal in the Under-15 Mixed Doubles category at the Anant Bajaj Memorial Telangana Open Badminton Tournament, held at the Pullela Gopichand National Badminton Academy. Vishal partnered with Ms. Hansika Rakesh, and the duo triumphed in a hard-fought final against Mst. Krishna S. M. and Ms. Shruti Yetchina, winning 8–15, 15–8, 15–13.

Currently, Vishal is attending a 20-day training camp at the Gopichand Academy as part of its Grassroot Development Programme.

In other developments, his sister Diya Bheemaiah will represent Karnataka at the 48th Junior National Badminton Championship 2025, scheduled to begin tomorrow in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh.
