Indian Air Force Invites Applications for AFCAT 1/2026

The Indian Air Force has invited applications for 340 vacancies in the Flying Branch and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches through the AFCAT 1/2026 examination.

During training, selected candidates will receive a stipend of Rs 56,100 per month, and the salary after commissioning will be approximately Rs 1.1 lakh per month.

Eligibility:
Candidates must hold a degree in any discipline (BE/BTech, BCA, BSc, BCom, BBA, BA/LLB) or a postgraduate qualification with 60% marks, along with 50% marks in Class XII. The age limit is 24–26 years, depending on the specific branch. Final-year students are also eligible to apply.

Important Dates:

  • Last date for application: 14 December 2025

  • AFCAT exam date: 31 January 2026

The written test will cover General Awareness, English, Mathematics, Reasoning and Military Aptitude.
