The Coorg Wildlife Society, in association with Dr. Naveen, a distinguished veterinarian, conducted an awareness programme at Coorg Signature Academy, Ponnampet, on Saturday.

The session primarily focused on creating awareness about rabies, especially considering frequent interactions between children and pet animals. Students were educated on the dos and don’ts while handling pets and the importance of responsible behaviour around animals.

Dr. Naveen also addressed common myths related to food contamination, with a particular emphasis on chicken consumption. The presentation covered several everyday topics that play a vital role in maintaining good health and hygiene but often receive little attention.
