In the context of the article on the Garbage menace and Human Animal conflict, it is most appropriate to remember Dr. Jane Goodall.

Dr. Jane Goodall, Founder of the Jane Goodall Institute and UN Messenger of Peace, was a remarkable example of courage and conviction, working tirelessly throughout her life to raise awareness about threats to wildlife, promote conservation, and inspire a more harmonious, sustainable relationship between people, animals, and the natural world. She passed away on October 1st, 2025.

Dr. Jane was known around the world for her 65-year study of wild chimpanzees in Gombe, Tanzania. However, in the latter part of her life she expanded her focus and became a global advocate for human rights, animal welfare, species and environmental protection, and many other crucial issues.

Jane was passionate about empowering young people to become involved in conservation and humanitarian projects and she led many educational initiatives focused on both wild and captive chimpanzees. She was always guided by her fascination with the mysteries of evolution, and her staunch belief in the fundamental need to respect all forms of life on Earth.

    Sad to hear the demise of the man ch acclaimed Nature empath Dr Jane Goodall,
    Thanks to CLN for writing about leaders which the current gen gets educated, we need more write ups like this
    She showed the world how animals are affectionate, how animals respond to earnest and genuine communication.

  2. It is true – it’s all a matter of being tuned and aware to one’s surroundings. The power of Natures creativity and our obligation to look after what is offered to us.

  3. Very sad to hear, but she led such a rich life serving humanity and all of the fellow creatures on our planet ..I have seen many of her videos. National Geographic also had a documentary on her. She had genuine dedication to her cause.
