Jana Suraksha Abhiyan held in Chembu Village

In collaboration with Kodagu District Lead Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Madikeri branch, and Chembu Gram Panchayat, a Jana Suraksha Abhiyan programme was organized in Chembu village, Madikeri taluk.

Addressing the gathering, Sujatha, consultant with Canara Bank, urged the public to avail themselves of social security schemes. She explained the details of schemes including Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana and Atal Pension Yojana, along with other government schemes such as PMEGP, PM Mudra Yojana and PMFME loan facilities.

Priya K.L., consultant with the Financial Literacy Centre, highlighted that the aim of the campaign was to raise awareness about social security schemes, cybercrime prevention and digital payments.

Chembu Gram Panchayat President Theertharama P.G., Vice President Sharda Suryakumar and Indian Overseas Bank Branch Manager Avinash were present. Vijaya H.K. welcomed the gathering and Priya K.L. proposed the vote of thanks.
