Diya Bhimaiah from Kodagu represented Karnataka in the Yonex Sunrise 79th South Zone Interstate Badminton Championship 2025, held from September 2 to 5 at the Heartfulness Gopichand Badminton Academy in Hyderabad, Telangana.

Diya Bhimaiahsecured second place in the girls’ singles (under-19) category and third place in the team event.
