Taluk-Level Dasara Sports Meets from August 18

The Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports has announced taluk-level Dasara sports meets for 2025-26, followed by district-level events.

Schedule:

Madikeri Taluk: August 18 – General Thimmaiah District Stadium & Sai Hockey Turf.

Ponnampet Taluk: August 19 – Forestry College & Junior College Grounds.

Virajpet Taluk: August 20 – Forestry College & Junior College Grounds.

Kudige Taluk: August 21 – Kudige Sports School & Sainik School Grounds.

Somwarpet Taluk: August 22 – Kudige Sports School & Sainik School Grounds.

The district-level Dasara sports meet will be held on August 30 at General Thimmaiah District Stadium, Kudige Sports School, and Kudige Sainik School.

Athletes are encouraged to participate in large numbers. For details, contact:
