MP Yaduveer Meets Home Minister, Seeks Relief and Action

Mysuru-Kodagu MP Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wodeyar met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi to discuss various concerns affecting the Mysuru-Kodagu constituency.

In a press release, Yaduveer stated that he requested the release of National Disaster Response Fund (NDRF) relief for Kodagu, where recent heavy rains have caused extensive property damage. He urged additional funds for repairing retaining walls and damaged roads.

Yaduveer also brought to the Home Minister’s attention the plight of tobacco and coffee growers affected by the rains and sought compensation for crop losses.

Additionally, he raised concerns about the increasing number of illegal Bangladeshi immigrants in Kodagu and requested urgent legal action. The Home Minister assured that necessary steps would be taken within a specified time frame.
