Kallengada Babin Bopanna, a native of Napoklu in Kodagu, has taken charge as Joint Director of the Fisheries Directorate, Bengaluru. Previously serving in Karwar, he has now been transferred to the state headquarters. He is the son of Kallengada Bopanna and Kamini.
