District In-charge Minister N.S. Boseraju, along with MLA and Chief Minister’s Legal Advisor A.S. Ponnanna, visited Cheriyaparambu in the Napoklu region to inspect areas affected by heavy rains.

The team observed the condition of the bridge built across the Kaveri River – which tends to overflow every monsoon, and its surrounding areas. The MLA discussed safety measures with officials and offered suggestions to mitigate risks.

They also held discussions on precautionary steps to be taken in the vicinity of the bridge, which is likely to face connectivity issues during future floods.

Present during the visit were Deputy Commissioner Venkat Raja, Zilla Panchayat CEO Anand Prakash Meena, Sub-Divisional Officer Vinayak Narwade, District Guarantee Implementation Authority President Dharmaja Uthappa, and other officials.
