Madikeri: Applications are invited for incentive scholarships for students who have passed SSLC and post-matric courses in first class in their first attempt.

  • Students must have passed SSLC with first class in the first attempt.

  • Students must have passed 2nd PUC (final year) in first class in the first attempt.

  • Students who have passed 2nd PUC exams conducted by CBSE or ICSE boards in first attempt and first class are also eligible.

For courses such as graduation, post-graduation, agriculture, veterinary sciences, engineering, and medical, students must have cleared every year’s exam in their first attempt and secured first class in the final year.
If a student has passed through compartmental or carry-over systems in any semester/year, they are not eligible for the incentive scholarship.

SC (Scheduled Caste) students from Karnataka are eligible even if they studied in other states, but those who studied abroad are not eligible under this scheme.

Students who have studied in universities/institutions recognized by the state/central government or deemed universities recognized by UGC, and government-recognized autonomous institutions, are eligible. Those studying in unrecognized institutions are not eligible.

Students must apply to the Deputy Director of the Social Welfare Department of the district where the educational institution is located.
Students studying outside Karnataka should apply in their native district only.

2nd PUC:

  • Aadhaar copy

  • Caste and income certificates

  • Bank passbook

Degree / PG / Professional Courses (Agri, Vet, Engineering, Medical):

  • Passport-size photo

  • Marks cards of all semesters

  • SSLC marks card

  • Aadhaar copy

  • Caste and income certificates

  • Bank passbook
