Kodagu SP and Two Other Police Officials Receive Prestigious State Police Awards

Kodagu Superintendent of Police K. Ramarajan, Somwarpet Police Station Officer Muddu Mahadeva, and Special Child Welfare Officer and Head Constable Sumati have been honored with prestigious police awards in recognition of their outstanding service.

These awards have been instituted for the first time by the Director General and Inspector General of Police (DG & IGP) of Karnataka to acknowledge exemplary performance within the police force.

In its inaugural year, three officers from Kodagu district have been selected as recipients-SP K. Ramarajan for his leadership, Officer Muddu Mahadeva for his dedicated service at the Somwarpet Police Station, and Head Constable Sumati for her exceptional work as a Special Child Welfare Officer.

The initiative aims to motivate and recognize police personnel who demonstrate exceptional commitment and dedication in their duties across the state.
