Anand Prakash Meena, CEO of Kodagu Zilla Panchayat, inaugurated a district-level officers’ training on the Karnataka State Climate Change Action Plan, conducted in association with EMPRI and KSCST.
He emphasized the urgent need for environmental conservation amid increasing weather anomalies. Senior Consultant Dr. B. Saritha discussed the statewide training efforts for sustainable development.
Resource persons M.A. Latha and Dr. M. Manjunath highlighted climate change issues and carbon credit opportunities in Kodagu. ZP Project Associate Inchara and officials from various departments attended the event.
