Ground breaking ceremony for the reconstruction from Appangala Junction to Bettageri road was held

MLA and Chief Minister’s Legal Advisor Ajjikuttira S Ponnanna recently performed the ground breaking ceremony for the reconstruction of the road from Appangala Junction to Bettageri at a cost of about Rs 4 crores with special funding from the state government. This road, which is used by thousands of devotees and the general public every day, has acquired great importance and there is no doubt that the development of this road will benefit the passengers.

Speaking after performing the ground breaking ceremony, the MLA advised the contractors to construct the road scientifically and at the earliest to facilitate the motorists, as this road will be convenient for thousands of devotees who are coming from all parts of the country to visit holy place Bhagamandala and Thalacauvery .

On this occasion, officials of the Public Works Department, District Congress President Dharmaja Uthappa, Block Congress President Ismail, other leaders and locals were present.
