Mandeyanda Vanith Kumar (Sanju) son of Mandeyanda Nanaiah and Ponnamma couple of Alur, Siddapura village of Kodagu district received PhD  for his thesis on the topic – “Three-tier system in Karnataka – A  case study on Mysore Zilla Panchayat” at Dravidian University under the guidance of  Dr. Nagaraja G H, retired professor of Mysore University. 

Vanith Kumar  has earlier worked at Cauvery College, Gonikoppal, Government First Grade College, Virajpet and is currently working as a lecturer in Political Science at Shri. D. Devaraj Urs Government First Grade College.
