Crimson Whisper

In shadows deep where silence grows,
There blooms a fire— A crimson rose.
With velvet lips and petals bold,
A story in its heart remains untold.

Each drop of rain, a lover’s sigh,
Clings like tears but dare not cry.
A beacon in the twilight’s grace,
Soft flames upon the evening’s face.

The thorns guard, but do not conceal,
The wild, aching truth that it can feel.
For love is fierce, and love is bright,
Like this red rose in dusky light.

So let it bloom where no one knows,
A secret kept—The crimson rose.
