C. S. Arun Machaiah has been   awarded the highest rank in karate, The 9th Dan Black Belt by Hanshi Bharat Sharma,  the President of  Karate India Organisation KIO.

Arun Machaiah is the only person in India to achieve 9th Dan Black Belt which is the highest ranking  Karate belt awarded, in India.
