‘Janata Darshan’ programme held under the chairmanship of District In-charge Minister N.S.Bosaraju

The ‘Janata Darshan’ program was held under the chairmanship of Kodagu district in-charge Minister N.S.Bosaraju, Chief Minister’s Legal Adviser and Virajpet Constituency MLA A.S. Ponnanna to provide appropriate solutions to the grievances of the public at the district and taluk levels.

A ‘District Level Janaspandana’ program was held recently at Virajpet Taluk Ammathi Government Model Primary School Auditorium.

Initially public complaints were received and around 74 applications were submitted including revenue, rural development, CSC, forest, integrated tribal welfare department, housing scheme and various social security schemes.

Minister N.S.Bosaraju and MLA A.S.Ponnanna suggested that the concerned department officials should resolve the complaints on the spot itself.

Bosaraju, speaking on the occasion said that many applications have been submitted for providing land and directed the officials to provide land and provide housing sites to the deserving ones within the jurisdiction of the respective Gram Panchayat.

Minister also said that more than 70 applications have been submitted by the public and the officials of the concerned department should respond immediately and advised to bring good name to the government.

For some applications, on-the-spot solution has been suggested. It is the duty of the officers to respond to the people and in this regard the officials should work with self-satisfaction, he told the officers.

Speaking on the occasion Chief Minister’s Legal Adviser and Virajpet Constituency MLA A.S. Ponnanna said that the government has implemented many schemes in favour of the poor and it should be delivered to them within the time limit. He suggested that the officials should understand the wishes of the government and respond to the public.

Kodagu Deputy Commissioner DrVenkat Raja said that the government has gone to the people and decided to solve the problems of the public immediately so this public meeting has been organized for that purpose, he added.

Guarantee Schemes Implementation Committee District President Dharmaja Uthappa, District Superintendent of Police K. Ramarajan, ZPCEO Anand Prakash Meena, Probationary SP Benaka Prasad, Guarantee Schemes Implementation Committee Taluk President, Gram Panchyat Chairman, Tahsildars, district and taluk level officials were present on the occasion.
