Dalai Lama arrives at Bailukuppe

Tibetan religious leader and Nobel laureate 14th Dalai Lama visited Bailukuppe Tibetan refugee camp near Kushalanagar recently.

Dalai Dama arrived at Bailukappe by a helicopter from Bangalore and was traditionally received by the Mysore district administration, representatives of the camp and his followers.

The representative of the camp Jigme Sultareem informed that the Dalai Lama, who is the walking god of Tibetans aged about 89 years old, has arrived in Bailukuppe for his enlightenment and will rest in the Tashilompo Buddhist temple of Bailukuppe camp for the next one month.  Tight security arrangements have been made by the Mysore District Police.
