D K Shivakumar visits various temples in Madikeri and offers special pooja

D K Shivakumar (DKS), Deputy Chief Minister (DCM) visited various temples in Madikeri on Ayudha Pooja and offered special prayers.

Speaking on the occasion the DCMsaid that Ayudha Puja and Dasara festival will be specially celebrated all over the country and added that may Mother Cauvery bring prosperity and happiness to all.

Shivakumar also said that the art, culture and heritage of the past have been preserved and traditionally being followed in all over country.

Dasara festival is specially celebrated in Madikeri in a traditionally and in a meaningful manner and added that this time there has been good rain resulting in a good crop which has made everyone happy.

DCM on the occasion visited Kundurumotte Sri Chauti Mariamma temple, Dandina Mariamma temple, Kote Mariamma temple, Kanchi Kamakshi temple, Sri Kote Ganapathi temple, Pete Sri Rama Mandir temple, Sri Kodandarama Temple, Sri Muthappa Temple, Karavale Bhagwati Temple, Sri Chowdeshwari Temple, Vijaya Vinayaka temple, Dechuru Sri Rama Mandir temple and offered special prayer and pooja.

Kodagu District in-charge Minister N. S. Bhosaraju, Chief Minister’s Legal Adviser and Virajpet Constituency MLA A. S. Ponnanna, Madikeri MLA Dr. Manthar Gowda, former MLC Sunil Subramani, Veena Acchaiah, Deputy Commissioner Venkat Raja, District Superintendent of Police K. Ramarajan, Z.P. CEO Anand Prakash Meena, Assistant commissioner Vinayak Narwade, Additional Superintendent of Police KS Sundarraj, DySP Mahesh Kumar, Madikeri Urban Development Authority Chairman Rajesh Yallappa, Dasara  Committee Working President Prakash Acharya, Dashamantapa Committee president  Jagadish , T.P. Ramesh, K.P. Chandrakala, H S Chandramouli and others accompanied Deputy Chief Minister.
