A huge tree falls on the main road of Kushalanagar

A huge tree fell across in the Shanivarsanthe and Kushalanagar main road near Kanve Basavanahalli due to heavy rainfall and gusty wind. It is reported that   a huge tree suddenly fell while a bent electric pole was being repaired.  The tree fell on the car which was parked on the road under the tree. Alur Siddhapur J E Manukumar and lineman Manju escaped with minor injuries and other line man and workers of electricity department narrowly escaped unhurt.  The tree damaged the house compound and barn belonging to N B Nagappa. The revenue department officials visited spot and reported the damages to the higher officials.   Later Forest department and fire brigade cleared the tree for smooth run of traffic.
