MP Yaduveer Wodeyar was felicitated by Kodagu District Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at a function held at Kodava Samaj, Madikeri recently. Speaking on the occasion Wodeyar said that Kodagu and Mysore have different culture and nature and added that Kodagu should remain as Kodagu and Mysore should remain as Mysore. We allshould save the culture and nature of Kodagu district which has unique customs and added that development works should also be carried out without effecting the nature.
Based on the development achievements made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the last 10 years and with the hard work of all the BJP activists from Kodagu and Mysore, we faced the election and received the blessings of the people. Yaduveer Wodeyar further stated that let’s work hard for victory in the upcoming elections of Zilla Panchayat (ZP) and Taluk Panchayat (TP).
Former MLAs KG Bopaiah (KGB) and Appachchu Ranjan spoke and lashed out at the state Congress government and described the loyal and hard workers are the real strength of the BJP.
Mangalore Lok Sabha member K. Brijesh Chowta was also honoured on the occasion.The program was presided over by BJP district president Napanda Ravi Kalappa.
