Diya Bheemaiah to represent India at Chengdu

Diya Bheemaiah has been selected for Badminton Asia U17 and U15 Junior championship 2024.

She will be representing India Under Category of Junior Girls Doubles Under 17 partnering with Baruni Parashwal (Haryana).

Tournament will be held from 20th to 25th August organised by Badminton World Federation and Badminton Asia Confederation at Chengdu, China.

She is currently ranked No. 1 in girls singles Under 17.

She trains under under Coach Mr. Bheemaiah B P and Mr. Arun Pemmaiah at Sports Park Mysuru and is a PUC student of Vidyashram college.

She is the daughter of Mr. Bheemaiah B P and Mrs. Kusuma Bheemaiah.
