The Unending Saga of Garbage Collection at Keere Pole Barrier

Date:

Comments:

It is reported that the garbage barrier erected at Keere Pole is cleaned at least 4 to 5 times each day.

The image published above was taken at 9.00 AM today.

Shameful that with so much adverse publicity about the irresponsible plastic and other garbage being depicted that the people continue to litter the area. Civic sense has to be taught from a young age at home by the parents and at schools.

The Administration and local civic bodies should be encouraged to take stringent action against offenders with both heavy fines/penalties and more.

The sad truth is that the garbage menace in Kodagu is attributable to both tourists and the local inhabitants. It is disgustingly and widely prevalent across all towns, countryside and public spaces.
