Lt Gen (Retd.) BNBM Prasad,SM, VSM was recently honoured by the Principal and Director of Mysore Medical College and Research Institute Dr. Dakshayani during the centenary celebration for his gallant and distinguished service to the nation. 

Lt Gen Prasad,Former DGHS(Armed Forces) and President’s Honorary Surgeon is analmnus of Mysore Medical College and is an eminent Pulmonologist.

General Prasad after nearly 4 decades of service in Armed Forces served as an Advisor Medical Education to Yogi Government in UP during Covid 19 pandemic.

He played a pivotal role in commencing DM Course (Pulmonary Medicine) at 

King George’ s Medical University Lucknow. He is a recipient of numerous awards including the prestigious Karnataka Rajyotsava award.
