The Mysore Kodagu Lok Sabha election was conducted peacefully. The Election staff of the districts under the supervision of respective Election officers sealed the EVM and VV pats and sent them to the strong rooms at Maharani College in Paduwarahalli, Mysore. 

Mysore District Deputy Commissioner Dr. K V Rajendra and Mysore Police Commissioner Ramesh Banoth visited the strong room and inspected it.

Speaking on the occasion The Deputy commissioner said that three levels of security are being provided to the voting machines until counting.  A contingent of Central Armed Police Force in the first phase, Karnataka Armed Reserve Force in the 2nd phase and local civil police personnel in the 3rd phase have been deployed for security in the rooms with EVM and VV Pat. 

DC also informed that more CCTV cameras have been installed in all the strong rooms and vote counting centers of the building and strict vigilance have been taken.

 Law and order DCP M.Muthu Raj, project director of construction center Mahesh and other election officers were present on the occasion.
