Tree-Dwelling Balsam.
(Impatiens dendricola)
This is an interesting stemless herb which is endemic to Western Ghats and is found growing on tree trunks in evergreen forests.
It is an epiphytic, scapigerous, tuberous herb, growing up to 10 – 20 high. Flowers are white.
Flower, Fruit : August-September.
Conservation Status : Critically Endangered (CR)
