The district-level single window committee meeting of the Prime Minister’s Job Creation Scheme and Prime Minister’s Vishwakarma Scheme was held recently at the Madikeri Deputy Commissioner’s Office Hall under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Venkat Raja.Nagesh Kundalwadi and Robin Devaiah, nominated members of the Vishwakarma Scheme, requested the provision of success stories of beneficiaries under the scheme.
In the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Venkat Raja directed the departments to achieve the set targets for the Prime Minister’s Job Creation Scheme and to make further progress. The meeting also discussed shortcomings, activities, and changes in the industrial areas of the district. The Deputy Commissioner emphasized that the Industrial Department should gather information about programs, encourage entrepreneurs, and provide more facilities to start businesses.
Shivalingaiah, Joint Director of the District Industries Department, and Umeshvi, Deputy Director, presented the progress made in the department’s programs. Officers and representatives of industry-support organizations such as KASIA, KIADB, and KSSIDC participated.
