The Karnataka Arebhashe Samskriti and Sahithya Academy recently announced its honorary awards for the year 2022 and 2023.
For the year 2022 awards were conferred to Dr Kaverimane Bojappa, Tuntaje Venkatesh (Ganesh) from Kodagu District and to Dr KV Chidananda from South Canara District
For the year 2023, Kuyinthodu Damodara and Koodakandi Kaveramma Somanna from Kodagu District and A K Himakara from South Canara were awarded, informed Academy President Sadananda Mavaji.
President further said that the award carries a cash prize of Rs 50,000 and a citation and award ceremony will be held at the Gowda Samaja in Madikeri on February 28th.
Former Chief Minister of Karnataka and Ex Central Minister and BJP leader
D V Sadananda Gowda will attend the programme.
