School Reopening Celebrated with Bouquets and Sweets

The reopening of schools for the new academic year was marked with enthusiasm as students were welcomed with bouquets and sweets.

Students of PM Shri School, Madikeri, were accorded a warm welcome on Monday. Bouquets and sweets were distributed to mark the beginning of the academic year.

Deputy Director of the School Education Department Basavaraju said that the quality and reputation of government schools would continue to improve as students increasingly chose to enrol in them with enthusiasm and confidence.

Students expressed happiness and excitement at returning to school. Area Education Officer Mahesh, SDMC President Jagadish, Headmistress Bhavani, DPEO Srinivas, DYPC Krishnappa, Subject Inspector Bindu, Area Coordination Officer Sharmila, Dr. Sadashivayya S. Palled, teachers and parents were present.
